Aortic root implantation
with valve sparing surgery
This is a technique used to replace a dilated aorta.
The slide show
demonstrates placing sutures, shaping lower graft parts, and application principles.
The aortic root is replaced, or a larger part of aorta, depending on its status.
The graft used can be straight or convex shaped in lower end. The size of the graft is important for optimized valve function.
